Yesterday, 31st May, 2018, President Muhammadu Buhari signed the ‘Not Too Young To Run’ Bill into law.
This has sparked a series of reactions among Nigerians, and even across the world. The United States Embassy in Abuja has taken to Twitter to congratulate Nigerian youths on the milestone achieved by the signing.
In the tweet, the US Embassy not only congratulated Nigerian youths but also declared that the U.S. supports a free, fair and inclusive political process in Nigeria, saying that the voices of young people, women, and disabled are to be included.
