Lagos is the biggest city in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. Mostly referred to as small London, Lagos used to be the capital of Nigeria. Filled with from all over Nigeria, Lagos is the most populous state in Nigeria. The metropolitan city has a lot of beautiful and interesting sites. In the meantime, Lagos highland is probably the most beautiful place in Lagos with different mansions and estates.
Located in the northern part of the country, Kaduna is an ancient city. The old northern region was divided into six states in 1967, leaving Kaduna as the capital of the north-central state. The city of Kaduna is closely related to Abuja. There are a lot of infrastructures in the city of Kaduna and a good example is the Amalgamation house. Lastly, there is also a famous wall known as known as the Zaria city walls. It was built during the time of Queen Amina.
Ondo state used to be the richest western city and is still renowned for its waterfalls. The state is blessed with a lot of well-carved rocks and beautiful landscapes. The state has enormous farmlands which are very rich in content.
This state is not only famous for its high standard of living but also for its aqua life and waterfronts. It is nicknamed the garden city and it is one of the richest regions in Nigeria.
Imo state is filled with a lot of tourist centers. From Ogunta Lake Resort to Edemili lake, including a lot of natural springs, Imo state truly deserves to be on the list.
Enugu, the coal City state was formed from Anambra state on August 27, 1991. In brief, the city is filled with tourism centers. Examples include Awhum waterfall, Ngwo cave, Ogelube lake, the AniOzalla lake, and Iheneke lake.
Akwa Ibom, the “land of promise” has a lot of very attractive landscapes and a multibillion-dollar ultra-modern stadium. In short, it is the second best state to visit the state during the festive period because that is when the entertainment centers come alive.
Hands down the best state in Nigeria in the festive period. Cross River with the capital being Calabar is a very peaceful state and the best carnivals are hosted in the city. Some of the popular places include; Obudu cattle ranch, TINAPA, Calabar museum, Duke town, Drill monkey and Tinapa.
The state is blessed with a lot of eye-catching infrastructures which is a major attraction to people all over the world.
